Collection: Cork Wallets

Cork wallets for men in three practical sizes: a slim bifold with six card slots, a bifold with a snap coin pocket, and a small minimalist wallet with a zip pocket for change. Every one is a vegan wallet made in Portugal from cork, with no animal leather. Only the Cork Wallet with Coin Pocket has RFID blocking. To match your wallet, see our reversible cork belts.

How to choose a cork wallet

Start with what you actually carry. Empty your current wallet onto the table and count: cards, notes, coins, receipts. That pile decides which cork wallet is right far better than any photo.

Mostly cards, a few notes, no coins. The Slim Bifold Wallet is the one most men start with. It has six card slots, a bill compartment along the top and two slip pockets, in a slender bifold 105 x 85 x 10 mm that weighs 48 g and is made to keep in your front pocket. It is a slim cork wallet that still holds a full day's cards.

Cards, notes and coins. The Cork Wallet with Coin Pocket adds a snap-close coin pocket: four card slots, two bill compartments and two slip pockets as well. It is the largest of the three at 113 x 92 x 20 mm and 60 g, and it is the only wallet here with RFID blocking.

As little as possible, but coins still happen. The Slim Wallet Coins Pocket is a small minimalist wallet with two card slots inside, two exterior card slots (including a quick-access slot on the cover), a flat note compartment at the back and a zipped coin pocket. At 3.0 x 3.7 x 0.4 in (76 x 95 x 10 mm) and 26 g, with rounded edges, it is our smallest cork wallet.

Why cork instead of leather

Cork is a natural, renewable material. It comes from the bark of the cork oak and is harvested without cutting the tree down. On all three wallets it is the main outside material. All three are made in Portugal, and a cork wallet for men is a vegan wallet: no animal leather is used.

Cork is supple and holds up to daily use in much the way leather does. It is easy to clean, and it ages well, picking up character over the years.

Looking after your wallet

Cork asks for very little, and regular cleaning helps it last. Wipe it gently with a soft cloth, warm water and a little mild detergent. Keep to one card per slot: one buyer of our Slim Bifold found that overloaded slots were what wore his wallet out.

Pair your wallet

A cork wallet goes well with a matching belt. Our cork belts for men reverse from black to brown, so one belt covers both. If you carry a laptop, the Cork Briefcase completes the set.

Every purchase plants a tree with OneTreePlanted. Standard shipping is free on orders over $80; under $80, shipping is calculated at checkout.
