Delivery Information

TheManEssens ships to over 35 countries worldwide. If your country is not supported, we will contact you before processing your order.

Orders are processed and dispatched within 2–6 working days (Monday–Friday). In the event of any issue with your order, we will notify you promptly by email. During peak seasons, courier delays may occur — please allow extra time for delivery.

Fulfillment Locations

We fulfill orders from two warehouse locations depending on the product type:

• TheManEssens Warehouse — all cork accessories, wooden watches, wooden sunglasses, and silk ties
• Spun Bamboo (Southern California, USA) — all bamboo apparel and accessories

Items from different warehouses may ship separately and arrive in separate packages, each with its own tracking information.

Made-to-Order Cork Items

Some cork accessories are available as made-to-order. Rather than mass-producing, we source cork pieces in small batches directly from Portugal. For made-to-order items:

Payment is collected at checkout
Your item will be prepared and dispatched within 2–4 weeks of your order
You will receive a shipping confirmation email once your item is on its way
Standard delivery times apply from dispatch date (see table below).

Duties & Taxes

TheManEssens Warehouse Orders — DDP (Delivered Duty Paid)

For all orders fulfilled from TheManEssens Warehouse, we ship on a DDP basis — all applicable import duties and taxes are paid by us prior to delivery. You will not be charged any additional fees upon arrival of your order.

In rare cases where a shipment cannot be processed on a DDP basis due to carrier or destination-specific restrictions, we will contact you before dispatching your order. You will have the option to:

• Proceed with the order, acknowledging that import duties or taxes may be payable upon delivery, or
• Cancel the order for a full refund

Bamboo Products — DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid)

Orders fulfilled by Spun Bamboo ship on a DDU basis. US domestic orders are not subject to import duties. For international customers outside the USA, import duties, VAT, or customs fees applicable in your country may apply. These fees are determined by your local customs authority and collected by the courier at delivery.

VAT & Business Purchases

For orders fulfilled from TheManEssens Warehouse, all applicable duties and taxes are covered on a DDP basis. As we are not VAT-registered in destination countries, we are unable to provide VAT invoices for import VAT purposes. Business customers requiring VAT documentation should consult their local tax advisor regarding import VAT recovery procedures.

Shipping Rates & Free Shipping

TheManEssens offers free standard shipping on orders over $80 to the following countries:

North America: United States, Canada, Mexico

Europe: European Union, Norway, Switzerland, United Kingdom

Middle East: Israel, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates

Asia: Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand

Oceania: New Zealand

For all other destinations or orders below $80, shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination and order weight.

Please note that free shipping thresholds apply per fulfillment source independently — not to the combined cart total. If your order contains both TheManEssens Warehouse products and Spun Bamboo bamboo apparel, each shipment is evaluated separately. Bamboo apparel qualifies for free shipping on orders over $80 within the US only — international bamboo orders always carry a shipping charge regardless of order value.

Estimated Delivery Times

Standard delivery typically takes 5–20 business days from dispatch depending on your region:

Most orders arrive within 7–20 business days from dispatch (see table above). In exceptional cases involving customs holds or remote destinations, delivery may take up to 45 business days — though this is rare. Processing time of 2–6 working days applies before dispatch

Tracking

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number. Please note that tracking may not be available for all shipping methods on all routes.
